2/28-3/1 Spring College Retreat – To be held at Skycroft Conference Center in Middletown, MD. The cost is $100 and the registration deadline is 2/9 (late registration is $110 by 2/16). High school seniors are encouraged to attend. Please sign up with Tim H.
3/20-22 2020 Spring Mid-Atlantic Blending Conference – To be held at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach/Norfolk at 5655 Greenwich Road Virginia Beach, VA 23462. (The first meeting starts at 7:30 PM on 3/20.) A special group rate ($89) is available. To secure this rate, use the link https://bit.ly/MAVBC2020 (with the code: MAB) or call 757-499-4400. Limited hospitality will be provided by the churches in the Hampton Roads area on a first-come-first-served basis. The deadline to request hospitality is March 8. An online registration form will soon be established. Children’s service will be provided for all the messages. A special plated dinner will be served on Saturday evening at 6 PM at the hotel.
Making Contributions Electronically – There is now the added option of making contributions electronically via Zelle, a free digital payment system supported by many banks. Different banks may have different implementations. In general, contributions are made from the bank’s online banking app on the computer or mobile device. Each bank has different daily and monthly limits for Zelle. Contributions with Zelle can be sent to the email address cidcofferings@gmail.com. Please specify designations in the memo field. The original way of making contributions via checks and cash is still good.
