4/26       Deadline for 2015 Summer Training registration – The live 2015 summer training will be held at the Ministry Conference Center 6/29-7/4 in Anaheim, CA. The video training will be simultaneously held at two locations in the homes, one in NE DC, and the other in Northern Virginia. If you are signing up for the video training, please also select one of the two locations. Below is the video training schedule:

  • MSG 1: 7/2 (Thursday), 7:30 pm
  • MSG 2 and 3: 7/3 (Friday), 4:30 and 7 pm
  • MSG 4 and 5: 7/4 (Saturday), 4:30 and 7 pm
  • MSG 6 and 7: 7/5 (Lord’s day), 4:30 and 7 pm
  • MSG 8: 7/10 (Friday), 7:30 pm
  • MSG 9 and 10: 7/11 (Saturday), 4:30 and 7 pm
  • MSG 11 and 12: 7/12 (Lord’s day), 4:30 and 7 pm

Donation (including outlines) is $155 for live and $80 for video training if registered before 4/26.  Any late registration for the live training will incur an additional $50 charge per trainee and subject to approval by LSM. Registration for the video training will open again after the 4/26 due date. Please submit the training registration together with donation to brother Tony Jang.

4/27    The Holy Word for Morning Revival – Crystallization-study of Exodus Vol. 2 – Week 8: “The Glorious Triumph of Jehovah as a Man of War and the Continual War with Amalek”

4/27          Corporate Ministry Reading – The Normal Way of Fruit-bearing and Shepherding for the Building up of the Church– first half of Chapter 2, Caring for People as Nursing Mothers and Exhorting Fathers (p 19-25).

4/29        Prayer Meetings in the homes, 8:00 pm

5/1          2015 Memorial Day Conference on 5/22-25 – The International Memorial Day Conference this year will be held in St. Louis, Missouri from Friday, May 22, 2015 through Monday, May 25, 2015. All the meetings will be held at the Hyatt Regency St Louis at the Arch, in the Grand Ballroom and will be open to the public. There will be translation into Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Please inform brother Tony Jang before 5/1 for your planned attendance and/or need for childcare; he will respond to the LSM for the total number of the attendees from our locality.

5/3         Lord’s Day Meeting in the homes, 10:00 am

5/3         Deadline for 2015 Summer Bible Camp – The 2015 Summer Bible Camp (Pre-School to Elementary School) will be held this year from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26, from 10AM to noon at the Dunn Loring meeting hall. Children must be 3 years old by October 1, 2015, to sign up. The registration form is posted online under “Members” on the Church in Dunn Loring website, and also at:  http://goo.gl/Wuwdru. The Bible Camp topic this year will be on Moses (“I’d Rather be with the People of God”).  This is not a drop-off camp, a responsible adult must attend with your child. Please see registration form for details or contact Jenny Snocker (DL) for additional information. Forms and payment may be turned in to sister Laura Miller (DC).The deadline to register is May 3.

UK Radio Program – Those who would like to contribute to UK Radio Program through LME can find instructions at http://www.lordsmove.org/ukradio. Or, you can give a gift to the Church in DC, designated for “UK radio.”

WEEKLY PRAYER BURDENS

Immediate burdens

  • Martin’s healing and recovery, and Martin’s family
  • 2015 Spring Chinese-speaking conference at Church in Franklin, 5/1-5/3

Mid-term burdens

  • The Lord’s leading regarding a meeting hall in DC
  • A full-time Team serving in the metro DC region
  • More serving ones and fellowship for the Church in DC Children’s service

Ongoing burdens

  • Increase in the number of saints attending the Wednesday prayer meetings of the Church in DC
  • Increase and strengthen the blending in the Mid-Atlantic area
  • Strengthen the existing home meetings in the Church in DC
  • Have more open homes within the District of Columbia
  • Shepherd our children and strengthen the Children’s service
  • Shepherd our students and gain increase from the campuses
  • Cherishing of new ones, particularly those who come to Lord’s Table meeting

English and Spanish versions available at the bookroom; Chinese and Korean saints can purchase in their respective
meeting locations; DC saints can purchase at the school. Cost for this publication is $6.00.
